The Butterfly Rainforest at University Of Florida’s Florida Museum of Natural History in Gainesville is a can’t miss living exhibit that features hundreds of free flying butterflies and birds from around the world. A lush tropical landscape is planted throughout the exhibits and walking paths go beside and over streams and waterfalls. See many varieties of unique and beautiful plants, fish, turtles, flowers, and butterflies. There are over 1,000 butterflies of over 50 species of butterflies and moths. The Butterfly Rainforest spans over 6,400 square feet of natural beauty exposed to natural Florida weather conditions.
