The Florida Panhandle is located in the North West of Florida and consists of St. George Island, Santa Rosa Beach, Sandestin, Perdido Key, Pensacola Beach, Panama City Beach, Navarre Beach, Miramar Beach, Fort Walton, and Destin. Panama City Beach is known as the “World’s Most Beautiful Beach” for its white sugar-like, silky sand and is a popular spring break party destination. Breathtaking views of the sunset can be seen over the Gulf of Mexico from all Panhandle beaches. The Florida Panhandle has seasonally cool temperatures in the winter. Fishing is a popular sport for beach goers on Pensacola Beach.
