Otter Fest Craft Beer Celebration Returns to Wekiva Island

There’s only one place to be in Central Florida on January 22. Wekiva Island’s Otter Fest is back! The event will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. January 22 at Wekiva Island, with VIP entry an hour early at 1 p.m. This is the fourth year for the event, which took a year off for COVID in 2021.

Attendees 21 and older will be able to enjoy a selection of tastings from 16 different breweries. There will also be prizes and freebies, live music from junoSmile and an unbeatable outdoor location along the beautiful Wekiva River.

“This is such a fun event, and people look forward to it every year,” said Carrie Vanderhoef, manager. “We’re so excited we have it back this year, and we know it’s going to be a great day celebrating craft beer and all the breweries participating.”

In addition to the fun, Wekiva Island’s amazing food truck, Without a Paddle Café, will be cooking up specials for purchase that complement the beer offerings. The menu includes locally made Polish Kielbasa with Grilled Onions and Kraut and BBQ Pork Belly Tacos. Of course, there will also be pretzel necklaces for easy bites between sips.

The first pour for all attendees will be the all-new Bud Light Next.

Participating breweries include:

• Ancient City
• Bold Rock
• Blue Springs Brewing
• Breckenridge
• Canteen Ready To Drink Cocktails
• Central 28
